CPEC’s energy production projects are on the path of rapid growth ;October 6, 2021

The CPEC’s energy project has reached another proud milestone as it now houses the Bin Qasim Power Station 3 in Karachi (BQPS III) The combined cycle power plant with a combined production capacity of 900 MW has started operating in a stable manner which is a great manifestation of the continuous development and steady growth of CPEC in this sector.
In a recent tweet, Mr. Nong Rong, Ambassador to Pakistan to China, said that the recycled liquefied natural gas (RLNG) Work on this plant is ongoing and it is growing steadily despite the global epidemic the Coronavirus. It should be noted that in the same month, October 2021, the Matari-Lahore HVDC project was also inaugurated under which a power transmission line of approximately 900 km long and having a capacity of 2000 MW has come into operation and now has started regular work
